Mabel's Willful Way
- As Mabel is dining out with her parents, she begins to find the orchestra's music annoying and she wanders off to the fairgrounds nearby. There Mabel meets two mischief-loving young men and she joins them in some of their antics. Meanwhile, Mabel's parents have started to look for her, and they are most unprepared for what they will find.
Mabel and Fatty's Married Life
- A married couple are visiting a park, when the husband gets involved in an altercation with an organ grinder. A little later, the wife is home by herself, as the husband has gone away in a cab. When her husband stops back briefly to pick up something, she mistakes him for a burglar. Then, when the organ grinder happens by the neighborhood, it's more than the wife's nerves can take.
Ambrose's Lofty Perch
- King Ambrose chooses a queen from among the maidens of his kingdom. After they are married, Robin, a young man the queen had known earlier, attempts to steal her from her royal husband. Robin shoots arrows with notes attached and the queen initially runs away with him. The queen, however, rejects her former suitor in favor of the king after Ambrose saves her from a snake. Her rejected suitor plots with the jester to bomb the palace but their plot backfires.

That Little Band of Gold
- A happy couple become engaged and soon afterwards they are married. But after their marriage, the husband begins to stay out with his friends, leaving his wife at home with her mother. Then, when the three of them go to the opera together, the husband spots one of his friends in another box. Soon the domestic difficulties reach their peak.
Ambrose’s Nasty Temper
- After being fired from the clothing factory he works at, Ambrose hires two crooks to drown the owner of the factory. They mistake her daughter for the owner and when Ambrose finds out he calls the police. They rescue the daughter from drowning by breaking through the floor, leaving water to gush down onto the police and Ambrose.
Ambrose's Sour Grapes
- Ambrose loses his girlfriend to Harry Gribbon in the park. When Ambrose's girlfriend’s twin sister and husband arrive everybody gets mixed up between the two twins.
When Ambrose Dared the Walrus
- Walrus and his wife run the Walrus Hotel, which acrobats Mr & Mrs Ambrose are staying at. Walrus gets a letter from his insurance broker Mr Cinder demanding a payment. Short on cash, Walrus decides to get his tenants' money now. Ambrose and his wife are in the middle of a domestic squabble when Walrus pays a visit, and his presence only makes things worse. Mr Cinder visits Walrus himself, and he carelessly throws his cigarette into a trash can. After he leaves, the hotel catches fire and the rest of the film is a thrilling five-minute race to pay off the insurance!

Fatty’s Spooning Days
- When Mabel catches her husband flirting with their maid, it leads to an argument. As part of making up, the couple goes for a walk in the park. Nearby, another married couple has just had a similar domestic squabble. But at the park, both men find it difficult to avoid getting themselves into further trouble.
Fatty’s Suitless Days
- Fatty is looking forward to attending a formal occasion. But in order to go, he has to be properly dressed, and he encounters unexpected difficulties in getting himself ready.
Little Billy’s Triumph
- Young Little Billy wants to buy some ice cream with the dime his mother gave him, but the neighborhood bullies have other plans for that dime.
