(1946) A haul of expensive diamonds is stolen, but before the thief can pass them on he is strangled by an ex-con and all-round bad guy, Cueball. The arch villain then takes the gems and continues murdering people he believes are trying to swindle him. In an attempt to entrap Cueball, Dick Tracy allows his girlfriend, Tess, to act as a buyer for the gems. But his plan backfires when she is captured by the homicidal Cueball – Oh No!
