Hop To It Bell Hop - 1925 – Black & White. STORY: This is a fun little film, starring Oliver ‘Babe’ Hardy as the villain. We are used to him being pushy and browbeating Stan Laurel, but in this film his ‘victim’ is Bobby Ray. This is a very devious and mean Ollie indeed! Good for a chuckle.
Enough To Do - 1926 – Black & White. Also known as ‘Wandering Papas’ in USA. STORY: A cook for a bridge constructor is told to collect food for dinner - trout, rabbit and a frosted cake. He sets off into the wide open spaces to collect the food, tries to catch fish using flypaper and succeeds in catching a skunk by the tail. This short film is historically important because it was directed by Stan Laurel and had Oliver Hardy in a major supporting role. A good little ‘rib-tickler’.
