About Cole's Books Cole's Books is an independent book shop in Bicester, Oxfordshire. This online shop is a reflection of some of the unique titles we sell in the shop, Signed Editions, Local Interest and a developing range of Cherished Books.
Signed Editions
Our range of Author signed books is rather comprehensive. Covering the areas of Sport, Film, Fiction, TV, Cooking and many other categories. Our policy is to sell Signed Copies at cover price only, we do not add a premium for a book with an author signature. Signed Copies make excellent gifts and, depending on the author, can grow in value.
Local Interest
North Oxfordshire and our neighbouring counties of Buckinghamshire and Northamptionshire, are rich in Local history. Everthing from the world of Flora Thompson and Lark Rise to Candleford (based on the villages just to the north of Bicester) to the University City of Oxford with it's rich heritage as a premier seat of learning.
Cherished Books
Old books are beautiful things, from the print detail of the linen covers to the smell and feel of pages which have been turned many times. A Cherished Book is not only a beautiful thing to own and look at, but it may also become a thing of value as the years pass. Some of our books are over 100 years old and may include inscriptions which are themselves a reflection of lives previously lived. | |
